Chinese (traditional)
By insolence the heedless make strife,
but wisdom is with those who take advice.
Where there is strife, there is pride,
but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom.By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom. By pride comes nothing but strife,
But with the well-advised is wisdom. Pride leads to conflict;
those who take advice are wise. Pride only breeds quarrels,
but wisdom is with people who take advice. Through overconfidence comes nothing but strife,
But wisdom is with those who receive counsel. An ignorant man causes strife by his insolence,
but wisdom is found with those who take advice. Keep his statutes and his commandments, which I am commanding you today for your own well-being and that of your descendants after you, so that you may long remain in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.Next verse!With image
