- Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. - Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Take words with you
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all guilt;
accept that which is good,
and we will offer
the fruit of our lips.” - I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.
- By insolence the heedless make strife,
but wisdom is with those who take advice. - Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord. - Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
- Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - As they came from their mother's womb, so they shall go again, naked as they came; they shall take nothing for their toil, which they may carry away with their hands.
- I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him. - But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I shall come out like gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps;
I have kept his way and have not turned aside. - I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!
- Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
- For we brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it; but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.Next verse!With image
