- Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. - I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.
- Take words with you
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all guilt;
accept that which is good,
and we will offer
the fruit of our lips.” - By insolence the heedless make strife,
but wisdom is with those who take advice. - Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord. - Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
- Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - As they came from their mother's womb, so they shall go again, naked as they came; they shall take nothing for their toil, which they may carry away with their hands.
- I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. - Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
- But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I shall come out like gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps;
I have kept his way and have not turned aside. - And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”
- I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him.
For we brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it; but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us. One who forgives an affront fosters friendship,
but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.Next verse!With image
