- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.” - I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
- By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom. - And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
- Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord! - Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
- Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps;
I have kept his way and have not turned aside. - Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
- And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
- The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah
