- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. - Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.” - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
- By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom. - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord! - And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
- And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
- Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps;
I have kept his way and have not turned aside. - The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me! - Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
- I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
- And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.”Blessed is the one
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.
