Chinese (traditional)For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,
for his loving kindness endures forever. Pride only breeds quarrels,
but wisdom is with people who take advice. All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!” My soul rests in God alone.
My salvation is from him. Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him. But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit. But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God. Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice.
In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Blessed are those who keep his statutes,
who seek him with their whole heart. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Tear your heart and not your garments,
and turn to Yahweh, your God;
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness,
and relents from sending calamity. Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.” As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.Next verse!With image
