For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off. Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Cast thy burden upon the Lord,
and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer
the righteous to be moved. And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
