Chinese (traditional)Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God. Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us.
Establish the work of our hands for us.
Yes, establish the work of our hands. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be enough room for.” But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet,
and enables me to go in high places. He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful. Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. “For the mountains may depart,
and the hills be removed,
but my loving kindness will not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace will not be removed,”
says Yahweh who has mercy on you. Don’t say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this. We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. For of him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen. The liberal soul shall be made fat.
He who waters shall be watered also himself. In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him!” I wait for Yahweh.
My soul waits.
I hope in his word. Surely he has borne our sickness
and carried our suffering;
yet we considered him plagued,
struck by God, and afflicted. Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved. Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh,
than great treasure with trouble. So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion!
Shout, daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King comes to you!
He is righteous, and having salvation;
lowly, and riding on a donkey,
even on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me. As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Next verse!With image
