- If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Behold, I am coming soon, and I will bring with me my reward to repay everyone as his deeds deserve.
- The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- At the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly.
- Therefore, if the Son sets you free,
you then will truly be free. - To these God chose to make known how rich is the priceless glory that this mystery brings to the Gentiles—Christ in you, your hope of glory.
- In my Father’s house
there are many dwelling places.
If there were not,
would I have told you
that I am going to prepare a place for you? - Jesus then said,
“I will remain with you
only for a short time longer,
and then I shall return
to him who sent me.” - I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
- If you abide in me
and my words abide in you,
you may ask for whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you. - I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
Whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my flesh, for the life of the world. - On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so too, through Christ, do we receive our consolation.
- For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- Behold, he is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him.
All the peoples of the earth will mourn him.
So shall it be. Amen. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Do not work for food that perishes
but for the food that endures for eternal life,
which the Son of Man will give you.
For it is on him
that God the Father has set his seal. - But Jesus has now received a ministry that is far superior, for he is the mediator of a far better covenant that has been established on better promises.
- Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
- Whatever you ask in my name I will do,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- I have told you these things
so that my joy may be in you
and your joy may be complete. - For I handed on to you as of primary importance what I received: that Christ died for our sins, in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried and that he was raised to life on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
