Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ.

Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
