- But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
- The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
All those who do his work have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever! - Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
- I will never forget your precepts,
for with them, you have revived me. - I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
- Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
- We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
- You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.
- Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.
- I am Yahweh your God. Walk in my statutes, keep my ordinances, and do them. Make my Sabbaths holy. They shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.
- If anyone sins, doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
- I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!
- Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.
Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. - Turn my heart toward your statutes,
not toward selfish gain. - A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Therefore you shall keep my commandments, and do them. I am Yahweh.
- You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.
- For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- All of your words are truth.
Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. - My son, don’t forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for they will add to you length of days,
years of life, and peace. - ‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction.
- The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright,
but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.
