Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” | Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” | But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. |

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. | For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. | For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. |
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. | But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. |
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? | Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? |
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. | But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. |
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. | Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. |

Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” | But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |
