Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today.Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
