Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Persecution
- Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
- Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
- If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
- Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
- But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
- And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
- My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
- Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.Next verse! With image
