- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.Next verse!With image
