- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Even to old age I am he,
and even to gray hairs I will carry you.

Yes, I will carry, and will deliver. - Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.

They are preserved forever,

for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- For your great loving kindness reaches to the heavens,
and your truth to the skies. - For Yahweh’s word is right.
All his work is done in faithfulness. - When I said, “My foot is slipping!”
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up. - “For the mountains may depart,
and the hills be removed,
but my loving kindness will not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace will not be removed,”
says Yahweh who has mercy on you. - In all hard work there is profit,
but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty. - You who love Yahweh, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of his saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - The Rock: his work is perfect,
for all his ways are just.
A God of faithfulness who does no wrong,
just and right is he. - Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’
- Let your eyes look straight ahead.
Fix your gaze directly before you. - The grass withers,
the flower fades;
but the word of our God stands forever. - Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh,
since we have hoped in you. - He will cover you with his feathers.
Under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. - Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh.
Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. - For who is God, except Yahweh?
