- When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.
- All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
- So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
to the blameless you show yourself blameless. - But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
So that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Next verse!With image
