- If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
- Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.
- The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
- For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise.
Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
