- Help us, God our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake. - Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens. - Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ - This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles. - If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.
- Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
From the house of the Lord we bless you. - There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

save me in your unfailing love. - Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
- Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
