- Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
- For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.
- For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Return to me,
for I have redeemed you. - I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
- The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- For this is what the high and exalted One says—
he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place,
but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
and to revive the heart of the contrite.” - From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people. - For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.
- Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
- I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth. - And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. - How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” - Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.
- Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
- Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
My times are in your hands;
deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me.The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
