- The body is one, although it has many parts; and all the parts, though many, form one body. So it is with Christ.
- Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself.
- For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another.
- Do not let anyone lead you astray. “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
- Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law.
- No one has ever seen God,
but if we love one another,
God abides in us,
and his love is made complete in us. - For we are not struggling against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, the powers, and the cosmic rulers of this present darkness, and against the spirits of evil in the heavens.
- I give you a new commandment:
love one another.
Just as I have loved you,
so you should also love one another. - For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man the many will be made righteous.
- Rather, be kind to one another and compassionate, and forgive one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.
- As servants of God, behave as free people, but do not use your freedom as a means to cover up wrongdoing.
- The love of money is the root of all evils, and in their desire for it some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many serious wounds.
- One person may consider one day to be more sacred than another, while another may judge all days to be alike. Let everyone be convinced in his own beliefs.
- The one who leads a blameless life
and does what is right,
who speaks the truth from the heart
and does not slander anyone,
who does not harm a friend
and does not scorn a neighbor. - Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will persist in their evil ways.
- The Lord will become king over the whole earth. When that day comes, he will be the only Lord, and his name will be the only name.
- Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing.
- There is no holy one like the Lord,
there is none beside you,
nor is there a rock like our God. - No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor.
- Beloved,
since God loved us so much,
we should love one another. - Two are better than one:
they earn a far greater reward for their toil. - For us there is
one God, the Father,
from whom all things are
and for whom we exist,
and one Lord, Jesus Christ,
through whom all things are
and through whom we exist. - This is how everyone will know
that you are my disciples:
if you love one another. - For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.
- I give them eternal life,
and they will never perish.
No one will ever snatch them from my hand.
My Father who has given them to me
is greater than all,
and no one can snatch them
out of the Father’s hand.
I and the Father are one.
