- Hatred stirs up strife,

- Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts.
- When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows,
but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble. - Speak out and pronounce righteous judgments;
defend the rights of the wretched and the poor. - Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say: Rejoice!
- Indeed, fornication and impurity of any kind, as well as greed, should not even be mentioned among you. Such talk is not fitting for saints.
- For we will become partners with Christ only if we maintain firmly until the end the confidence we originally had.
- Treasures obtained by wicked means profit nothing,
but a righteous life brings delivery from death. - Thereupon the Lord restored the prosperity of Job after he had prayed for his friends, and he enriched him with twice as much as he had possessed before.
- The beginning of wisdom is: acquire wisdom,
and no matter what the cost, acquire understanding.
