Chinese (traditional)- Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus.
- This is a trustworthy saying:
If we die with him,
we will also live with him. - No one is holy like the Lord!
There is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. - Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment.
- May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love.
- He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
- Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
- He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- He will judge everyone according to what they have done.
- As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching.
- Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
- Rescue me, O Lord, from liars
and from all deceitful people. - You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
- So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
- So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
- Pride leads to disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom. - For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.
- Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
- Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.
- Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.
- Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
- But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- The Lord makes some poor and others rich;
he brings some down and lifts others up. - We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord.
Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak! But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!Next verse!With image
