Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Abandon'
- The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us.
- And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
- For the Lord loves justice;
he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend,
and do not go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity.
Better is a neighbor who is near
than a brother who is far away. - Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
A fool despises his father's instruction,
but whoever heeds reproof is prudent. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.Next verse!With image
