Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight.The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.
Commit your way to Yahweh. God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and he won’t do it? Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good?God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong.
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
