| But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. | But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. |
| You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. | For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. |

| Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops. | Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase. |
| But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. | But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul. |

| All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. | In all labor there is profit, But idle chatter leads only to poverty. |

| All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing. | He covets greedily all day long, But the righteous gives and does not spare. |

| And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. | And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. |
| Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. | Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. |
| Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine. | Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. |
| The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. |
| Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. | All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. |
| As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. | As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. |
| Do everything in love. | Let all that you do be done with love. |
| Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. | Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. |
| All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. | For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law. |
