| Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. | Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous. |
| And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation. | God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done. |
| And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. | This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. |
| All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. |
| But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” | The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.” |
| If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. | You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. |
