Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'An'
- Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
- Will you set your eyes on that which is not?
For riches certainly make themselves wings;
They fly away like an eagle toward heaven. - Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident. - One who turns away his ear from hearing the law,
Even his prayer is an abomination. - Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.
- Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
- Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
- Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
- A fool’s wrath is known at once,
But a prudent man covers shame. - But let justice run down like water,
And righteousness like a mighty stream. - Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
- Do not envy the oppressor,
And choose none of his ways;
For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord,
But His secret counsel is with the upright. - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good it is! - But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
- It is honorable for a man to stop striving,
Since any fool can start a quarrel. - And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
And remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.Next verse!With image
