- In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

- If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.

years of life, and peace. - Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- If anyone sins, doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
- Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.
