And (3/4)

  • Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
  • And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
  • And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.
  • Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
  • But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
  • Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
  • Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness
will find life, righteousness, and honor.
  • May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
  • See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.
  • And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
  • The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
  • The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil.
Pride and arrogance and the way of evil
    and perverted speech I hate.
  • For the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true.
  • If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
  • I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
  • And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied. And what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.
  • And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.
  • Then you will understand righteousness and justice
    and equity, every good path.
  • Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
  • You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
  • Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God.
  • Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
  • The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein.
  • I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
  • And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
