- Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me. - And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
- Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,

- To fear the Lord is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech. - For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
- And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen. - The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!
- Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
- Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
