- And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
- Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all. - May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.

- They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.

Like one from whom people hide their faces

and with my song I praise him. - If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

and light dwells with him. - If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.
