For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything.All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

The godly are showered with blessings; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
