A newly married man must not be drafted into the army or be given any other official responsibilities. He must be free to spend one year at home, bringing happiness to the wife he has married.If a man has recently been married, he is not to go off to battle nor have any other duty laid on him. He will be free to stay at home for one year so that he can bring happiness to the wife whom he has married.
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above all other names, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.A fool is quick to show his anger, but a prudent man ignores an insult.

So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Be calm and fix your hopes completely on the grace that you will be granted at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.Seek peace with everyone, as well as the holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord.
The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers.The end of all things is near. Therefore, lead disciplined lives and be watchful in prayer.

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.Their eyes were opened and they realized that they were naked. They took fig leaves and sewed them together, making themselves a covering.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.

When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued to teach and preach this message: “Jesus is the Messiah.”And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ.
Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God.No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you will all perish as they did.

But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.During the day the Lord grants his kindness, and at night his praise is with me, a prayer to the living God.

Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today.Exalted at God’s right hand, he received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
