Believe and receive (4/4)

  • For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  • Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
  • If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
  • But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
  • But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
  • Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
  • But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
  • Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
  • We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
  • And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
  • Depart from evil, and do good;
    seek peace, and pursue it.
  • By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life.
  • Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
  • And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
  • I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
  • Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
  • Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
  • Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
  • We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
  • Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
  • I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
  • And rend your heart,
    and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil.
  • Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord.
  • And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
  • He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
