Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Believed'
- Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
- But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
- Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead.
- Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith:
Christ was revealed in a human body
and vindicated by the Spirit.
He was seen by angels
and announced to the nations.
He was believed in throughout the world
and taken to heaven in glory. - There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
- Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.
- Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
- Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.
- All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.
- It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.
- For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
- We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. - You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.
- Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness
while I am here in the land of the living. - God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
- I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—
he is the King of glory.
