  • The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way.
  • Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.
  • Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
  • That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
  • Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom.
  • And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
  • And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.
  • And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
  • For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
  • For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
  • For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
  • For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.
  • Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
  • I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
  • Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
  • But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
  • Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
  • God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
  • Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
  • For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
  • Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.
  • Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
    but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
  • And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me.
