- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts. - By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. - We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
- Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,
But he who gathers by labor will increase. - But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
- Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
To a nation that was not called by My name. - How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word. - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.
- For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
- Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
- I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
- You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

- Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- By pride comes nothing but strife,
But with the well-advised is wisdom. - This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
- So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
- By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
- For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
- Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
- Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted. - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
- But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
- For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law.
- But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
