- He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! - I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved. - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
- And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.
- Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
- Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
- For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
