Bible Verses about 'Come and see'
- Taste and see that the Lord is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! - Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. - Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;
When shall I come and appear before God? - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
- Now no one lights a lamp and covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see the light.
- Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”

And lead me in the everlasting way. - What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?
- Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
- Come, let’s worship and bow down,
Let’s kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years approach when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”.
- For,
“The one who desires life, to love and see good days,
Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
He must turn away from evil and do good;
He must seek peace and pursue it.” - But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
- So that I may come to you in joy by the will of God and relax in your company.
- And heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. - See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.
- “Can a person hide himself in hiding places
So that I do not see him?” declares the Lord.
“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord. - And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
- Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - I have not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.
- Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
- For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
- This is what the Lord says:
“Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths,
Where the good way is, and walk in it;
Then you will find a resting place for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” - Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.
- And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’
- For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
- He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
- I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
- Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
- I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.
- But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
- This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
- Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.”
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
- See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him.
- For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every person according to his deeds.
- Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
