- Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! - Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. - My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God. - Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting. - But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
- What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
- Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
- Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come,
And the years draw near when you say,
“I have no pleasure in them” - But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
- And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- “Can anyone hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;
“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord. - I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
- That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
- See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
- For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. - He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
- And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
- Thus says the Lord:
“Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” - I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
- Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
- Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
- I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
- The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
- On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
- He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! - Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
- No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.
- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
- For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
- And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved. - Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
- And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
- Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
