- O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. - Arise, shine; for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. - Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.

When shall I come and behold
the face of God? - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
- Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

- So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.
- Cure the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- Jesus answered him, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”
- For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - The clever see danger and hide;
but the simple go on, and suffer for it. - And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

in the land of the living. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
- I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance.
- Look! He is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail.
So it is to be. Amen. - Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you both see and hear.
- I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has enough to complete it?
- The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.
- I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.
- When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
- No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
- Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this ought not to be so.

- And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come.
- For
“Those who desire life
and desire to see good days,
let them keep their tongues from evil
and their lips from speaking deceit;
let them turn away from evil and do good;
let them seek peace and pursue it.” - For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.
- See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
- I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.
- For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
- Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
- Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.
