Bible Verses about 'Come and see'
- But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid! I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised, as he promised he would be. Come and see the place where he lay.”

“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.” - Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
- What then if you were to behold the Son of Man
ascend to where he was before? - Examine me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and understand my thoughts.
See if I follow an evil way,
and guide me on the way to eternity. - Exalted at God’s right hand, he received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
- When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.

‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest
is the one who is to baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ - On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! - I came from the Father
and have come into the world.
Now I am leaving the world
and returning to the Father. - Which one of you, intending to build a tower, would not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has sufficient funds for its completion?
- Then Jesus said to him,
“You have come to believe
because you have seen me.
Blessed are those who have not seen
and yet have come to believe.” - His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Since you have been faithful in small matters, I will give you much greater responsibilities. Come and share your master’s joy.’
- Jesus answered him,
“Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.” - No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a pot or places it under a bed. Rather he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life;
whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God rests upon him. - But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
- For I am longing to see you so that I may bestow on you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or, rather, so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.
- And the good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the entire world as a testimony offered to all the nations. And then the end will come.
- Bring the tithes in full into the treasury
so that there may be food in my house.
Put me thus to the test,
says the Lord of hosts,
and see if I will not open
the windows of heaven for you
and pour down blessings upon you
without measure. - Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me.
- For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone according to what has been done.
- Behold, he is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him.
All the peoples of the earth will mourn him.
So shall it be. Amen. - My soul thirsts for God, the living God.
When shall I come to behold the face of God? - I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - See what love
the Father has bestowed on us,
enabling us to be called the children of God,
and that is what we are.
If the world does not recognize us,
that is because it did not know him. - Go and learn what this text means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.
- Jesus replied, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
- Be on guard against false prophets who come to you disguised in sheep’s clothing, but who inwardly are ravenous wolves.
