- The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

and the years approach when you will say,
“I find no pleasure in them”. - Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
- Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
- “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. - I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
- For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
- I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen. - The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
- But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
- Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
- Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
- He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. - On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
- His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
- Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
- Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.
- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

- Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
- See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
- For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.
- Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
- Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.Next verse!With image
