- If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
- Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Smitten by God, and afflicted. - Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases. - Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation! Selah - But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.” - God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
- So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. - Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
