Bible Verses about 'Continue'

Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.
Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
And the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day.And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day.
For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy. You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; The simple pass on and are punished.
And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever.‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord; ‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,’ says the Lord; ‘I will not remain angry forever.’
Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
