- Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
- I have set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.

- I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be eliminated by the waters of a flood, nor shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.
- Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.”
- Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I have given everything to you, as I gave the green plant. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.”
- For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
- God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- But from the beginning of creation, God created them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate.
- I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed Me and fulfilled his duty to Me, and kept My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.
- Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.
- And the Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. Then the man said,
“At last this is bone of my bones,
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called ‘woman,’
Because she was taken out of man.”
For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. - In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
- For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
- Rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
Than to trust in people. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
- Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
- I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.
- The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
And kind in all His works. - Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
- Trust in the Lord and do good;
Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness. - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
- Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
- Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You. - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
- You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
- As for you, see that what you heard from the beginning remains in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
- By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.
- A fool does not delight in understanding,
But in revealing his own mind. - The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
- Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus.
- In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - When I am afraid,
I will put my trust in You. - And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
