- Give us this day our daily bread.
- For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
- But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
- Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
- This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge. - When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. - Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - He coveteth greedily all the day long:
but the righteous giveth and spareth not. - And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
- Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
- And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
- Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
- Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
- And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted.
If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.Who is this King of glory?
