| Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. | Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you. |

| Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. | Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart. |

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. | “I love You, Lord, my strength.” The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. |
| There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. | Many plans are in a person’s heart, But the advice of the Lord will stand. |
| The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. | The wise of heart will receive commands, But a babbling fool will come to ruin. |
| Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. | Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. |
| Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. | But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. |
| The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? | The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom should I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom should I dread? |
| If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. | If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. |
| Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. | Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. |

While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.” |
| Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. | Put me like a seal over your heart, Like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, Jealousy is as severe as Sheol; Its flames are flames of fire, The flame of the Lord. |
