Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Destruction'
- Before a downfall the heart is haughty,
but humility comes before honor. - Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
- The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless,
but it is the ruin of those who do evil. - Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
- He sent out his word and healed them;
he rescued them from the grave. - Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
- Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
- Those who guard their lips preserve their lives,
but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. - Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute. - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the Lord’s anger. - If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever.
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.Next verse!With image
