- When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”

do not forsake the work of your hands. - When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill the vow you have made.
- So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.
- O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me;
may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever. - Therefore, you must also be prepared, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
- But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for I bring you good news of great joy for all the people.”
- When you pray do not go on babbling endlessly as the pagans do, for they believe that they are more likely to be heard because of their many words.
- But do not ignore this one fact, beloved: with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.
- Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
- Nevertheless, do not rejoice in the knowledge that the spirits are subject to you. Rejoice rather that your names are inscribed in heaven.
- Live in harmony with one another. Do not consider yourself to be better than others, but associate with the lowly, and never be conceited.
- Beloved,
do not trust every spirit,
but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God.
For many false prophets
have gone out into the world. - But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
- Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
