The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. | The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To eliminate the memory of them from the earth. |

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. | I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly. |

Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. | Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of mankind among them are fully given to do evil. |

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? | Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? |
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. | For am I now seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. |
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. | So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. |

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. | In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be put to shame; In Your righteousness rescue me. |
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. | I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And I wait for His word. |
Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince. | Excellent speech is not fitting for a fool, Much less are lying lips to a prince. |
